Channel Aliases ################################################ /aj [channel] Adds the current or specified channel to autojoin. /ajoin Opens the autojoin editor and lets you add and remove autojoins for the current irc network. /onjoin +/- Allows you to setup an on join message, notice, or public channel announcement. /at Allows you to add text to the end of a channel's topic. Requires ops or a -t channel. /bk [reason] Bans then kicks the specified nickname from the active channel. You must have ops to use this. /cban Bans the specified hostmask from all the channels you currently have ops in. /ckb [reason] Kicks and bans the specified nickname from all channels you currently have ops in. /ckick [reason] Kicks the specified nickname from all channels you currently have ops in. /clban Clears the banlist of the active channel. Requires ops. /cm [mode] Echos the statistic for the currently active channel in this format: [o: 14][v: 1][n: 0][t: 14][m: +stnl 19] o: number of ops in channel v: number of voiced in channel n: number of nonops in channel t: total number of channel members m: current channel modes When given a mode it changes the mode of the channel to that specified. /colnick [on/off] Refreshes the nicklist colors. When given an arguement of on or off also toggles nicklist colors on and off. /cop Ops the specified nickname in all channels you have ops in. /ct Clears the topic for the active channel. /cw Performs a whois on the specified nick and sends the results to the active channel or query. /cww Performs a whowas on the specified nick and sends the results to the active channel or query. /cwi Performs a idle whois on the specified nick and sends the results to the active channel or query. /cycle [#channel] "Cycles" or parts and rejoins the active or specified channel. /dop [nick2] [nick3] ... Deops the specified nick or nicks in the active channel. /dt Changes the topic of the active channel to your default topic. /dv [nick2] [nick3] ... Removes voice status from the specified nick or nicks. /fk [reason] Kicks the specified hostmask and any that match it from the active channel. /fkb [reason] Kicks and bans the specified hostmask and any that match it from the active channel. /fnk Kicks the specified nick and any that contain it from the active channel. /getops [bot] Attempts to get ops from a bot in the current channel. At least one person in the channel must be +g in the channel and have a bot password set for this to work. /ht Holds the topic in the active channel so it can not be changed by anyone but you. /i [#channel] Invites the specified nick to the specified or currently active channel. /ia Invites the specified nick to all channels you are currently in. /j <#channel> [key] Joins the specified channel. /k [reason] Kicks the specified nickname from the active channel. /kb [reason] Kicks then bans the specified nickname from the active channel. /knop Kicks all non-ops and non-voiced from the active channel. /lmsg Sends a message to all nicknames you specify. WILL NOT WORK ON EFnet Hybrid 6!! /lnotice Sends a notice to all nicknames you specify, WILL NOT WORK ON EFnet Hybrid 6!! /mdop Mass deops in the active channel. /mdv Mass devoices in the active channel. /mi <#channel> Mass invites everyone in the current channel to the channel you specify. You must have ops. /mmode <+|-> Sets large numbers of modes in the active channel. Takes into account each networks modes-per-line. /mop Mass ops everyone in the active channel. /mv Mass voices everyone in the active channel. /nmsg Sends a message to all non-ops in the active channel. Does not work correctly on efnet hybrid 6 and CAN (probably WILL) flood you off. /nnotice Sends a notice to all non-ops in the active channel. Does not work correctly on efnet hybrid 6 and CAN (probably WILL) flood you off. /on Sends an onotice (wallop) to all ops in the active channel. /op [nick2] [nick3] ... Gives operator status to the specified nick or nicks for the active channel. /p Parts the active channel. /rban [ban #] Removes a ban from the active channel. With no argument this will list all bans for the active channel. /relc [nick] Relays the last ctcp you received to the active channel or to the specified nick. /relcr [nick] Relays the last ctcpreply you received to the active channel or to the specified nick. /relm [nick] Relays the last private msg you received to the active channel or to the specified nick. /reln [nick] Relays the last notice you received to the active channel or to the specified nick. /relsc [nick] Relays the last ctcp you sent to the active channel or to the specified nick. /relsm [nick] Relays the last private msg you sent to the active channel or to the specified nick. /relsn [nick] Relays the last notice you sent to the active channel or to the specified nick. /rj [channel] Removes the active or specified channel from your autojoin. /rt Sets a random topic in the active channel. /t [topic] Sets the topic in the active channel. /tban Removes any bans older then the duration you specify. /umop Mass ops all users in the active channel that are +o on your userlist. /umdop Mass deops anyone in the active channel who is not +o on your userlist. /umv Mass voices all users in the channel who are +v on your userlist. /umdv Mass devoices all users in the channel who are not +v on your userlist. /unban Unbans the specified hostmask in the active channel. /ut Unholds the topic in the active channel. /v [nick2] [nick3] ... Voices the specified nick or nicks in the active channel. /vmsg Sends a private message to all voiced nicks in the active channel. /vn Sends a notice to all voiced nicks in the active channel. /wall Sends a onotice (wallop) to all ops in the active channel. /wallm Sends a private message to all ops in the active channel. /uwall Sends a wallop to all ops in the channel except for the bots. Users must be on userlist as ops and bots must be on userlist as bots. ################################################ II. Client Aliases ################################################ /adcc Sets the specified user +cs on your userlist for five minutes. This will allow you to automatically accept chats and automatically receieve files from that user. /af Allows you to add files to the "menu" section of the ircN channel popups. This section is a launch list which allows you to quickly launch commonly used applications. /av [-c] Displays your ircN version plus the versions of all curently installed addons. With the -c option it will display in color. /away Sets you away with the supplied reason. /back [message] Sets you back from away. If you do not supply a message uses your default one. /backup Backs up all ircN settings and files. /cls Clears the active window /color Echos the mirc color codes to the active window. /deltemp Deletes all temporary files created by ircN /delog Deletes all log files. /dict [-s] Connects to the MIT dictionary server and looks up the specified word. With the -s flag will send the definition to the active channel or query. /dl Opens the ircN incoming directory. /dns Performs a dns check on the specified nick or hostname. /dos Runs command.com and opens a dos box. /e Encrypts the specifed text and sends it to the active channel. /echo Echos the specified text to the target window. /exit [-y] [reason] Used to exit mIRC. If the -y switch is used it automaticly exists without prompting. If a reason is given it exits with that reason. If none is given a random one is used from quotes.txt /idos Opens idos. /help Open this help file. /load <-rs/-rv/-ru/-pn/-pm/-pc/-ps/-pq/-a> Loads script, popup, or alias files. /mchk Checks message log of messages you received while away. /mdel Deletes your message log. /offer Sets up an xdcc offer. Follow the prompts. /patch Opens a file dialog and allows you to select a .pch file. This is used when upgrading ircN. /pw Set the password used for encryption. /scriptinfo View info on all currently loaded script (.mrc) files. /setpop Setup check mail functions. /setsmtp Setup send mail functions. /sv [-c] Show your version information to the channel. A typical /sv will look like this: ircN - [ver7.0] - [wNT/u1/mb32v551] - ver = current ircN version w = current windows version: 95, 98, or NT u = number of times used mb = mirc bits v = mirc version With the -c option it will display in color. /t2 [-c] Shows your currently loaded script theme. With the -c option will show in color. /telnet [port] Opens the ircN telnet client and connects to the specifed address. /tv [-c] Shows the version of your currently loaded theme. With the -c option will display in color. /quit [reason] Quits irc. If you do not specify a reason a random one will be used from quotes.txt. /wholeft See who left after a split. /www Opens your web browser to the specified web address. ################################################ III. Other Aliases ################################################ /addons Opens the "addons central" dialog which allows you to install and uninstall all ircN addons. /colors Opens the ircN color selection window which allows you to setup all ircN colors and nicklist colors. /diff Opens a dialog that allows you to select an ircN .dif patch. Used for upgrades. /ftp [site] Opens the built in ircN ftp client. /idraw Opens the ircN whiteboard which allows you to draw with multiple users. /midi Allows you to select and play a midi. /rgetnick [nickname] Automatically attempts to reget your nickname when the person that has it leaves. /servers Opens the server selection dialog and allows you to connect to a server. /svinfo Displays statistics regarding your ircN version and connection. /uptime Displays how long your computer has been on. /usage Displays how much time you've spent online with your copy of ircN. /wav Allows you to select and play a wav file. ################################################ IV. Query Aliases ################################################ /addon [nick/#channel] Sends a ctcp addon request to all nicks in the active channel or to the specified nick/channel. /ame Sends a action to all channels you are currently in. /amsg Sends a public message to all channels you are currently in. /cget <#pack> CDCC get the specified pack number from a cdcc bot. /chat Open a dcc chat window to the specified nickname. /clist [botnick] Get a CDCC offer list from the specified CDCC bot or if no bot is specified gets the list from the active channel. /ctcp [arguments] Send a ctcp to the specified nick. /describe Send a description to the specified nick or channel. /m Send a message to the specified nickname. /mm Send a mass message to everyone in the active channel. WILL NOT WORK ON EFNET HYBRID 6! /me Send an action to the active channel. /msg Send a private message to the specified nick. /n Send a notice to the specified nick. /names [#channel] Get the names of all users in the active or specified channel. /ping [nick/#channel] Send a ctcp ping to the specified nick or channel. If no nick or channel is specified it performs a ping on the active window. /q Open a query window to the specified nickname. /say Send a message to the active channel. /sping [server] Ping your current server or the one you specify. /send [file] DCC send the specified nickname a file. If you do not specify a file a dialog will open to allow you to select one. /w [nick] Perform a whois on the specified nickname. When given the nick twice it performs an idle whois. /who Perform a who on the specified nick, channel, or hostmask. /whowas Find out information about a nick who has quit irc. /wii Perform an idle whois on the specified nickname. /ver [nick/#channel] Send a ctcp version request to the specified nick or channel. If no nick or channel is specified it performs a version on the active window. /xget <#pack> XDCC get the specifed pack number from an XDCC bot. /xlist [botnick] Get a XDCC offer list from the specified XDCC bot or if no bot is specified gets a list from the active channel. ################################################ V. Statistic Aliases ################################################ /clones [#channel] Checks the active or specified channel for clones. /chkhost Checks the specified nick to see if its hostname is spoofed. /clientscan Shows all non-invisible clients connected to a server. /cstats Gets the stats for the active channel. /icmp Checks your connection for possible icmp attempts. /ircops Checks the active channel for ircops. /ll Checks the currently connected servers for splits. (link looker) Do not use very often or you will be k-lined for link looking. /ml Makes a list of servers on the current network. Required for the link looker to work properly. Do not use to often or you will be k-lined for link looking. /nickfind Checks mirc's internal address list and the irc server for the nickname of the specified ip or hostmask. /portscan Checks the server for the least lagged port and gives you options for connecting to it. /themes Opens the themes @window and allows you to load sound and script themes. /trace Checks the server you are currently on for ircops. /ufind Lists all users in the active channel and their status. ################################################ VI. Toggle Aliases ################################################ /autoaway Toggles autoaway /botflood Toggles botnet flood protection. /chandump Toggles channel dump. /cprot Toggles channel flood protection. /dccrelay Toggles the automatic relaying of all dcc's to a specified nickname. /dccstatus Toggles the dcc status window. /fprot Toggles user flood protection. /hideping Toggled hideping. /idlechk Toggles idle check. /inotify Toggles your notify list. /irc2 [port] [nick] [altnick] [password] Activates irc2 mode and allows you to connect to multiple server/network. /ircii Activates ircii mode which echos everything from all channels and queries into one window, exactly like ircII. /msglog Toggles message logging. /pager Toggles your pager. /partyline Toggles your partyline. /pdcc <#/off> Toggles or sets pump dcc feature. /rcontrol Toggles ircN's remote control feature. /seen Toggles ircN's built in seen bot. /stheme Toggles script themes. /tdaemon Toggles ircN's built in telnet daemon. /xdcc Toggles xdcc offer on and off. ################################################ VII. Userlist Aliases ################################################ /addban [reason] Add a hostmask to the permanent ban list. /addbot [hostmask] [pass] Add a bot to your userlist. /addhost Add a new hostmask to a users record. /adduser [hostmask] [nickname] [pass] Add a user to your userlist. /bans Display your permanent ban list. /chattr [+/-] [#channel] Give or take flags from the specified user. The following flags are available: +f == protected +p == allow partyline access through telnet daemon, any users with +o should have this. +v == autovoice +o == op +a == auto-op (requires +o) +m == master (won't take revenge) +n == owner (full access) +k == Auto-kick +d == Auto-deop +b == bot +i == ircN 7 user (use with +g to get ops) +g == getops from bot (+b or +i also required) +c == auto-accept DCC chats +s == auto-accept DCC sends +r == allow remote control access through telnet daemon +x == file area access (not yet implemented) +j == file area janitor (not yet implemented) /chbotpass [password] Changes the password for a bot or ircN user. Used to getops. This is your password on THEM. /chinfo [#channel] [info|none] Changes the info that will be displayed for the specified user on join. /chpass [password] Changes the specified users password on YOU. /remban Removes the specified ban from your permanent ban list. /remhost Removes a hostmask from the specified user. /remuser Removes a user and all info associated with him/her. /uwhois [command] Displays information regarding the specified username.
